On May 27, 2026, the official launch of the Romania–Kenya Chamber of Commerce (ROKECC) will take place at Hotel Caro in Bucharest, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the economic relations between Romania and Kenya. The event will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, diplomats, and members of the business community interested in the growing opportunities between the two countries.
ROKECC is an autonomous, non-governmental, and non-political organization dedicated to promoting and strengthening economic cooperation between Romania and Kenya. Its mission is to facilitate sustainable partnerships, investments, and trade exchanges between companies from both countries, at a time when Kenya continues to position itself as one of Africa’s most dynamic economies.
Through its activity, the Chamber aims to serve as a bridge between Romanian entrepreneurs and the Kenyan market by providing access to strategic contacts, matchmaking services, legal and fiscal consultancy, as well as operational support for business development. Members will also benefit from institutional promotion, participation in economic missions, and access to networking and professional development events.
The launch comes at a favorable moment for the development of bilateral relations. Interest from Romanian companies in Kenya is steadily increasing, particularly in sectors such as infrastructure, technology, agriculture, energy, tourism, and education.
Among the founding members and strategic partners of ROKECC are companies and organizations active in technology, investments, construction, tourism, and business development, including 112 Hub, Conrad Tech Investments, Inoveco Expert, J’Info Tours, and Africa Talent Hub. The Chamber also collaborates with Kenya House — the first permanent Kenyan cultural hub in Romania — together with media partners dedicated to promoting economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
According to the organizers, the official launch represents more than the inauguration of a new organization: it is the beginning of a collaborative platform designed to build long-term economic bridges between Romania and Kenya, in an international climate where strong business partnerships are becoming increasingly important.
The business community is warmly invited to join this important moment dedicated to dialogue, investment, and new opportunities for Romanian–Kenyan cooperation.
